Licence Agreement.
-
Whiteboardmaths.com hereby grants you
a licence to use the presentations solely in accordance
with the terms and conditions set out below.
-
Permitted Use
If you have purchased presentations via the download
facility you may copy these to another storage device
that facilitates their use at your place of work. You
may use the presentations on only one computer at a
time.
-
Institutions that purchase the CD
may copy all or part of its contents to the required
number of computers as determined by the size of the
user licence purchased. The licence to use the software
is sold to the institution only. Individuals
covered under the licence may copy the CD to their home
computer but have no ownership whatsoever over its
content. They are not permitted to use the material when
moving to another educational institution unless that
institution has purchased the necessary licence.
Institutions that have purchased a “Full Site” licence
may place the contents on their network or any other
computer but not on their
Website unless a home/school intranet (VLE) licence has
also been purchased. Institutions that have purchased a
home/school intranet licence (VLE) must ensure that the
Website is secure and that the material cannot be
accessed by anyone other than for those people for which
it is intended.
-
Prohibited Use
You may not use the presentations except as expressly
permitted by this licence. For example you may not: (i)
copy, reproduce or alter any part of the content unless
this is strictly for your own personal use within the
purchasing institution. (ii) sub-licence, copy, lend,
lease, rent, transfer or otherwise make any part of the
content available to a third party in any manner,
including without limitation, via the internet, or any
tangible media. (iii) remove or alter the copyright
notices on the software.
-
Disclaimer
Considerable efforts and precautions have been taken to
ensure the accuracy of the content, with several proof
readers involved, however the presentations are licenced
to you "AS IS". We do not guarantee that the content is
100% free of errors or inaccuracies. In the unlikely
event of text or other errors being found, the user is
free to correct these on the storage device to which the
original files have been transferred.
-
Renewal of Licence
“Full Site” licence holders and VLE
licence holders will be sent an invoice for the annual
subscription payment of their licence on each anniversary of
the initial purchase together with the latest updated
version of the CD. If in the unlikely event that these
licences are no longer required then we require that a
minimum of six weeks notice is given prior to the annual
renewal date in the form of a signed letter from the Head of
Mathematics confirming that the resource has been removed
from the network/VLE and that it is now solely in use in the
teaching rooms as agreed under the initial purchase of
“Teacher Licence”.
